A tuxedoed server walks around filling up your champagne flute anytime they spot it empty and your dirty dishes from the buffet are constantly cleared away. When you descend on the buffet, you come back to your table with folded napkins, cleared dishes and a glass full of champagne….I could get used to that!

A Bloody Mary Menu with House-infused Vodkas Steal the Show at Biergarden, Encinitas

Biergarden does have a large selection of San Diego brews on tap but I decided on Biergarden because of their brunch and FULL Bloody Mary menu! The bloody mary menu definitely steals the show! Not one, not two, not three, but FIVE bloody marys for your tasting and drinking pleasure. In a sea of tomato juice, vodka, and celery sticks, nothing makes your girl more excited than variety and individuality (that goes for my food and life in general).

Day Dining for Brunch at the Newly Opened Fort Oak in Mission Hills

In a sea of chilaquiles, breakfast burritos, and huevos rancheros, typical for Southern California brunch menus, Fort Oak is pushing the boundaries of what a brunch menu can be. Trust me there is nothing better than having a hangover, drinking a stiff bloody mary and devouring a giant breakfast burrito, but it is also nice to have a more refined and upscale brunch experience. When you try a new restaurant and get the experience of tasting something you’ve never experienced before; don’t us brunchers and day diners deserve the same experience?

Then look no further than the 14th-floor rooftop destination bar, The Nolen, for “The Sunday Requirement.” I require that you try this place out as soon as possible! Ocean Views and Bloody Marys at Duke's, La Jolla

To complement the Demitri's, Duke's La Jolla uses St. George's Green Chili Vodka. St. George's contains serranos and bell peppers, layered with notes lime and cilantro, a true California palette. St. George's brings the depth of this bloody mary flavor to the next level. The bloody is sweet and savory with a final pop of heat from the vodka, that leaves you wanting more. It is not difficult to drink the entire bloody in just a few minutes.

Sexy Charcuterie in a Glass, The Tower23 Bloody Mary at JRDN

The Tower23 bloody mary had a stunning presentation; glistening in the sunbeams on the oceanfront patio, It was almost too pretty to drink! JRDN infuses their vodka with jalapeños and cilantro. I personally love cilantro, it gives meals and drinks such a refreshing and floral taste, in the best way possible. The mix is made in-house with a mild flavor but has that last second kick from the jalapeño infusion and spices. The jalapeños gave the bloody a perfect amount of heat, making it drinkable for lovers of all spice-levels.

BAB Bloody Marys at Sandbar Sportsbar and Grill

Sandbar, has a great bloody mary in Mission Beach. Dubbed the “BAB”, aka the Big Ass Bloody, Sandbar’s bloody mary won’t let you down. Served in a tall beer mug with what seems like an entire bottle of Skyy Vodka, this bloody had me wondering how I was going to get home!

Build Your Own Bloody Mary at Davanti Enoteca in Little Italy

Next, a qualified assistant walks you through the bloody mary bar and builds it for you! Because one does not, “build your own”. You let your bloody mary assistant know how spicy you want it (there is a large array of hot sauces to choose from) on a scale of 1-10, she adds Worcestershire sauce and fresh lemon juice and then your journey begins. Courtney and I went in two different directions for our toppings. Courtney chose bacon, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, ham, and a few veggies. I went for a kosher salt rim, pepper, celery salt, chili powder, pickled carrots, cauliflower, and peppers.
