Brunch, check. Bloody marys, check. Panoramic views of Coronado Bay and Coronado Bay Bridge, check. Feast & Fareway on the Coronado Golf Course is Coronado island’s newest brunch restaurant. While I don’t know much about golf, I know a lot about brunch and Feast & Fareway is definitely “up to par”.

Open to the public, Feast & Fareway invites you to, “feast along the fareway.” If you’re not particularly into golf like me, that’s okay! There are plenty of other reasons to brunch at Feast & Fareway. Here’s why the newly constructed Feast & Fareway is, “up to par”.

Panoramic Views

Nothing goes better with brunch and bloody marys than gorgeous scenic views. Feast & Fareway offers some of the very best views for dining in San Diego that I’ve experienced thus far. Look to your left and you’ll see Coronado Bay and the iconic Coronado Bay Bride, look straight ahead out into the bay with views of massive ships and people boating and paddle boarding in the bay, and look to your right and you’ll see sweeping fairways lined with palm tress, dancing in the breeze.

The covered patio is a great place to gather with friends and family, where there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Fans of air conditioning can grab a table inside where you’ll find a large, stylish and cozy dining space with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, a large green wall with colorful live plants, and a bar equipped with TV’s for viewing sports.

Scrumptious Brunch “Fare”

Feast & Fareway has hearty and scrumptious dishes to fuel those who are hitting the fairways at 6:00AM such as the Steak and Eggs with 6oz skirt steak, chimichurri, two eggs any style, house potatoes, and choice of bread, or my husbands favorite, the Croque Madame with ham & gruyere on brioche with béchamel sauce, fried egg, and served with house potatoes. Feast & Fareway also has a couple of vegan options, Benedict’s, and some sweet treats for those with a sweet tooth. 

Impressive Bloody Mary

Bold and somewhat sour the Feast & Fareway bloody mary will immediately wake your senses, and in my case, do the bloody mary happy dance. I always appreciate a bold bloody mary, because that means it’s going to do its job! After a night at the Del Mar racetrack, I was definitely in need! The savory base is packed with flavor and just the right amount of salt and horseradish to bring all the feels back; suddenly things start to get a little less foggy. 

All jokes aside, the incredible views, ocean breeze, scrumptious brunch and bold bloody mary are a recipe for a fantastic day. The indoor/outdoor space is great for any occasion with friends or family and the patio is pup friendly! Whether you’re there to golf or there to brunch, Feast & Fareway is certainly, “up to par”. It must be added to your brunch and bloody mary bucket list in San Diego!
