Brunchfaced: Mother's Day Weekend

One of the busiest days in the dining industry is mothers day, and for good reason! It’s a day for us to treat our moms and celebrate them for all they do! Mom’s need to get brunchfaced once in a while too! There are sooooooo many places offering wonderful Mothers Day specials but I’ve narrowed down my list this time to a few places. Day Dining at the Newly Opened Fort Oak in Mission Hills

In a sea of chilaquiles, breakfast burritos, and huevos rancheros, typical for Southern California brunch menus, Fort Oak is pushing the boundaries of what a brunch menu can be. Trust me there is nothing better than having a hangover, drinking a stiff bloody mary and devouring a giant breakfast burrito, but it is also nice to have a more refined and upscale brunch experience. When you try a new restaurant and get the experience of tasting something you’ve never experienced before; don’t us brunchers and day diners deserve the same experience?

A Neighborhood for Foodies? North City, San Marcos Boasts Accessible and Inviting Dining Options

North City, an urban, mixed use development in San Marcos that is aiming to become the official downtown of North County, has already welcomed some amazing dining and entertainment options during phase one of development. All are easily accessible and walkable from the community and North County residents can easily travel to North City with it’s convenient and central location.

I’ll definitely be needing a stiff bloody mary and some brunch on Sunday morning, so here’s where to party on Saturday and get brunchfaced on Sunday to cure your hangover!
