Road Trip Bloody Marys at a Piece Brewery and Pizzeria

It was dreadfully hot and humid during our stay so after spending hours being tourists and walking for miles, we headed back to the Wicker Park area and decided to get some pizza and found Piece Pizzeria and Brewery. I got the menu and saw they had a bloody mary, and while all the house beers on tap sounded delicious, my inner tomato-loving self once again told me to go for it, and I wasn’t disappointed. It was cool and refreshing, just what I needed after all that walking.

Leaving Minnesota Behind, Horseradish Vodka Bloody Marys at Moscow on the Hill in Saint Paul

It was 4:30 p.m. during the week so, quite honestly, I wasn’t thinking about having a bloody mary. However, when I read the drink menu and saw under Moscow Cocktails: The Bloody Russian, I couldn’t refuse my inner tomato-loving-self telling me to go for it. I am so glad I did because this bloody mary was top notch!

Jacked Up Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar at Hell's Kitchen, Minneapolis

After accidentally ordering just a “regular” bloody mary, finally, my mug of vodka and Hell’s Kitchen original bloody mary mix arrived so I could high-tail it to the 35-foot long black icicle hallway. I couldn’t believe my eyes! This is no ordinary build your own bloody mary bar! Over 200 different kinds of hot sauces and a smorgasbord of goodies! I didn’t add any extra hot sauce to mine, but I sure did load up on the food. I did a celery salt rim, olives, cherry tomatoes, pickles, capers, garlic, green, red and yellow peppers, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, asparagus, cucumbers, olives, extra horseradish, corn, and 2 chicken wings, one honey bbq flavored and the other coated with a dry rub. They have no limit to how much you can stuff in your mug as long as the skewers fit in your glass!
