Brunchfaced: Presidents' Day Weekend Brunch Guide

I could be really selfish and just say the only thing worth doing this Presidents’ Day weekend is my Galentine’s Day Brunch Bus, but I won’t do that to you guys. I will plug it here though! LOL! But, since it’s a special lady’s event, the guys need somewhere to brunch this Presidents’ Day weekend too! Here’s where to get Brunchfaced this weekend!

Galentine’s Day Brunch Bus - Encinitas

Join us on the luxury PARTY BUS for a brunch filled adventure from Encinitas to Stillwater Sounds & Spirits in the beautiful Dana Point, and back. This is a special Galentine’s Day themed brunch bus, so call all your besties, we’re getting brunchfaced! Red, pink or white attire is encouraged, but not required! The party bus is equipped with a sound system, laser light show, and a state-of-the-art dance floor! Yes, a DANCE floor! Stillwater Sounds & Spirits is located above the gorgeous Dana Point Harbor with a locally and sustainably sourced menu, and pre-prohibition architecture and cocktail program! Tickets and info, click here.

The Great Maple - University Heights, UTC, Del Mar

Great Maple is one of the most popular…and busiest breakfast spots in San Diego and for a good reason! I mean the maple bacon glazed donuts are good enough reason themselves, but have you seen the bloody marys? A whole menu of bloody marys; pizza topped, pickle topped, and even octopus tentacle topped. I personally have had the Pickle Mary and the Guadalupe Mary and the Hangover Mary. If you’re really hurting from the night before go for the extra Hangover Mary with the extra shot of vodka! Great Maple is rocking on the weekends, so try your best to make a reservation ahead of time!

Et Voila! - North Park

It’s looking like another chilly, potentially rainy weekend here in San Diego and you’ll want to warm up with some authentic made-to-order French cuisine, won’t you? I think Et Voila’s steaming pot of mussels with white wine, garlic, shallot, and herbed butter cream will do the trick! If you’re not big on seafood, Et Voila’s homemade mushroom ravioli with a Port wine mushroom sauce is simply fantastic or the French classic, croque madame! The bloody marie de luxe, has probably one of my favorite garnishes with a garden of veggies and tempura mushrooms. SO good. Brunchfaced off of authentic made-to-order French cuisine? Yes please!

Isabel’s Cantina - Pacific Beach

Want to get close to the beach but still stay dry and warm? Isabel’s Cantina, only 2 blocks from the beach is the perfect middle ground! Airy with tall ceilings, as the rain falls on the roof and you’re surrounded by live plants and Buddha statues, Isabel’s is the perfect spot to really relax and chill for brunch this weekend. Latin and Asian influences create an outstanding brunch menu with so many yummy options! I would highly recommend the magherita scramble, banana blackberry pancakes, or the breakfast tamales. Want to get a Zen kind of brunchfaced? Head to Isabel’s Cantina

So, if you can’t make my brunch bus, you still have options on where to get brunchfaced this Presidents’ Day weekend! You can also check out my list of The Best Bloody Marys in San Diego that I just released this week!
