Brunchfaced: Mother's Day Weekend Brunch Guide
One of the busiest days in the dining industry is Mother’s Day, and for good reason! It’s a day for us to treat our moms and celebrate them for all they do! Mom’s need to get brunchfaced once in a while too! There are sooooooo many places offering wonderful Mother’s Day specials but I’ve narrowed down my list this time to a few places. insideOUT - Hillcrest
Celebrate mom this Sunday in insideOUT’s elevated and relaxing urban oasis. Each mom will receive a rose to show their appreciation for the wonderful ladies in our lives and all they do! Enjoy Executive Chef MJ’s Mother’s Day Special: Crab and Avocado Salad and a Summer Rose Spritzer, accompanied by open skies and soothing water features. There’s no better place to celebrate and unwind for Mother’s Day than insideOUT in Hillcrest.
Mavericks Beach Club - Pacific Beach
For a Mother’s Day your mom will never forget, take her for a stroll on the beach and then head to Mavericks Beach Club for a special brunch event. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., listen to live music as you and enjoy a $25 Mother’s Day brunch buffet, with a complimentary bottle of champagne (limit one per table). Mavericks also serves breakfast, so you can opt to order dishes like the Acai Bowl, with organic acai, granola, honey, strawberries, blueberries and bananas, a Loaded Avocado Toast and much more. There will also be a mimosa bar that guests can visit!
Louisiana Purchase - North Park
Whose mom wouldn’t love celebrating at San Diego’s hottest new brunch spot - Louisiana Purchase?! Reserve a table on the patio and enjoy dishes with Creole and Cajun flare, like the LP Sardou - steak and creamed spinach on an English muffin, topped with crab boil poached eggs and housemade sauce. On Mother’s Day, all moms get a FREE mimosa, or you can browse the cocktail menu for NOLA-inspired sips.
barleymash - Gaslamp
Mumm’s Champagne loves moms and so does barleymash! On Sunday, May 12th, treat your mom to barleymash’s specialty Mother’s Day Brunch, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., where all moms receive a complimentary glass of Mumm’s bubbly. Pair with any of the Gaslamp District spot’s tasty breakfast menu items, such as the colossal Sin-A-Bun cinnamon roll, with brown-butter Frangelico cream cheese and chocolate hazelnut sauce, a breakfast sandwich or classic barleymash, topped with fresh veggies!
