Coronavirus is absolutely devastating to many industries across the country, especially the restaurant industry. As someone who has been in the industry for over 15 years, it really breaks my heart to see this happen. So many people's hopes, dreams, and life savings are wrapped up in their restaurant. It has been with such a heavy heart that many are closing and letting go of employees as we approach a possible lockdown.
Although there are closures, there are still some fantastic restaurants across San Diego that are staying open for takeout and delivery options, trying to stay afloat and pay employees. Other ways you can help are by purchasing gift cards that can give them cashflow now and give you something to look forward to!
If you’re a foodie like me then some of your most memorable and special moments were celebrated in a restaurant and I want to do what I can to help them through this Coronavirus pandemic. I created this list with the help of fellow foodies, of some takeout and delivery options in San Diego to make decisions quick and easy and to promote when possible ordering directly through the restaurant.
