Brunchfaced: First Weekend of Spring

Spring has sprung!!! I can hardly believe winter is over and the weather may not be shaping up just yet but theres still so much to celebrate. A new season brings new energy, new life, and new possibilities! Here are this weeks picks on where to get brunchfaced to celebrate the new season!

Biergarden Encinitas - Encinitas

North county is thriving and Main Street staple Biergarden Encinitas is in the thick of it! It may be called biergarden but their bloody mary menu has something to say about that! Perhaps a Hearty Bloody with house infused bacon-cheddar vodka or a Mediterranean Bloody with house infused cucumber and green peppercorn gin will indulge your morning cocktail cravings. If you’re feeling an incredible need to get totally #brunchfaced then devour the steak and eggs; 2 eggs any way, a juicy, chargrilled 10oz ribeye steak, toast, and crispy rosemary potatoes. Yaassssss! If you like the lighter side of things a pineapple mimosa, ahi tuna, or huevos rancheros!

barleymash - Gaslamp

Get absolultey brunchfaced from the half pound juicy and delicious B’Fast Burger with aged cheddar, Applewood smoked bacon, two fried eggs and a brow-bourbon hollandaise sauce. One of the very best build your own bloody mary bars hangs out in the back of this massive dining establishment. The Shores Restaurant - La Jolla Shores

It might rain this weekend…again, but that’s okay. You can still have the surf and sand while staying warm and cozy inside The Shores Restaurant located in The Jolla Shores Hotel. A decadent brunch menu of fresh and sustainable seafood options by Chef de Cuisine Percy Oani include the wild shrimp pappardelle in a rich chardonnay sauce or the ahi tuna poke with furikake wontons. If you’re feeling more breakfasty instead of lunchy any of the omelets or benedicts will please your palate.
